Canada, a very special company who gives program in lifestyle resolution to help disable people. The translation job I received 2days before they arrived. 10 days business trip here, they have different factories meeting for printing education products, jewelry, plastic and aluminum water bottle.
After fresh picking them up to the hotel, we have a two hours long meeting for jobs in those following days. I started to do detailed research till mid night to ensure right factory we would meet the next days. The first day, 4 hours negotiation each for 38 kinds of printing products, we went very slowly with two factories that contacted by clients in Canada, but I learned fast and had have a so clear idea for their requirement; they continued to meet all the factories in schedule for the following days, and The last working days they decided to meet one I picked up for them.
They looked very happy because of their professional products range was quite closely to their 38 kinds of products, 2hours we finished in this meeting, and they praised: “I wish we could first met with them.” That's the greatest reward to my hard work those days.
We have 2 days for fun, I prepared 20 options at the night time, and it come out to meet all their needs like Chinese ancient souvenir street but not commercial kind, local market in small village, brass ware street, typical shopping street that allows bargain, jade wholesale market, tea house, and some special shop like sword and boxing…The last day when we sit down in the park, the one of two clients who had a few words only but gave me words with big encouraging “ You are the one who help us a lot over a million people I met before, and this is the most meaningful one among my hundreds of trip.” And now I've become their purchase agent and QC representative in China to take in charge of all their different kinds of products.
