I worked for a European cooperation as a freelancer interpreter and project assistant in 2000, it was my first step after I finish my university study. I went to Australia study at University of Technology, Sydney in 2004, major in MBA, and later in Macquarie University major in Master of Translation and Interpreting, by the end of 2007, I received my accreditation of Translation authrized by NAATI, a national body of Translation and Interpreting organisation.
Supprisingly,My professonal path in Australia did not start as a translator but a business owner. I owned my first business in 2008 in Melbourne, it was a pet shop. The business located in a Chinese community I did lots interpreting practice during that period. Later after I sold my business I was employed by Paradise Retail Holdings, the headquater of my franchised shop, as merchandise assistant. during that period, I attended many Exhibitions in China, US,Germany etc. Early this year, I had the opportunity to set up an International Trade Company with my fellow partners in Adlaide and Melbourne to promote more business opportunities between countries and states in Australia.
Now I often travel in between Australia and major cities in China, I found it's a good opportunities to utilize my language skills and local resource to generate more business for myself and others.
