Living in Australia for three years I have traveled almost the whole country. I have experienced western (Aussie) life myself and met people from different part of the world, that was an extraordinary part of my life. And, made me a myth breaker - at least to people I know - Strangers just greet to each other while walking pass (without purpose). You don't need to carry napkin at all. BBQ can be your everyday dinner, yet Asian food is common. Racist doesn't exist when you don't have racism. Everything just No Worries...
Why I'm saying all that was because I have heard too many rumours before I went oversea. So, I bet you have heard 'Things' of China - They said - now, here I am! Let us break the myth together!
- I scheduled a personal 10 day visit to Shenzhen in March to counsel a Chinese lady friend in seeking a new home, purchasing new cell phone, finding a good English learning school, etc. I hired Ling to be our interpreter and I was not disappointed in any way. She is a very delightful, mature, intelligent, and informed professional person, who is very fluent in English and easy to understand. She was well prepared, punctual, enthusiastic, focused, and well organized for all meetings. Very knowledgeable about getting around Shenzhen/Hong Kong and up to date on the latest technology products. I am planning to use her interpreter services again soon, and recommend her highly to anyone with similar personal or business needs. I am also hiring her to do some English language tutoring for a friend, who is planning to go abroad from China and needs to learn basic, daily life English. She made a considerable contribution to my enjoyable, rewarding and successful trip. Mission accomplished for me. Lingling is a real winner !!
