Dear all, my name call Sophie Ye, I graduated from Century College, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications( the top 5 of China Universities.) with a major in English. During the different courses in the university I have accepted a well-education and studied a variety of cultures from around the world.
I am honest girl with strong of responsibility, reliability as well as gentle smile on my face and easy-going with the people around me. During the time of out-of-duty, I prefer to reading or climbing mountains and doing some sports at outer suburb areas of Beijing with my friends or just myself alone. I am also keen to travel abroad and enjoy some new experiences in an interesting journey and unfamiliar world offers to me, which will make me become stronger, confident and delightful. Besides, I am happy to communicate and make friends with new people at home and abroad. I was born and raised in Anhui, a province in the middle of China, which develops machinery for industry, which has been doing so for many years. I have studied and lived in Beijing since 2006.
At the moment, the Chinese tour industry has many guides who know all about traditional Chinese culture, but very few have experience in delivering a sophisticated one-to-one quality service. There are some negative impressions within the international society regarding the travel industry.
I am a big fan of traditional Chinese culture and also like to travel. Although I haven¡¯t acquired any certificates as a tour guide, with my high educational background and graduation from a well-known university, I have studied the ancient and rich culture of China. Introducing our fabulous culture and beautiful attractions to new people is a very interesting and rewarding job for me.
Most of my clients who do business in China are also interested in traditional Chinese culture; I have guided and accompanied them to many famous destinations and historical sites across China.
As a professional interpreter, the main purpose of my work is to provide bilingual language interpretation; being a tour guide is an additional service I provide for my clients after completing their main business. My aim is to provide a seamless, unforgettably excellent and comfortable experience during their stay in China.
