IVA No: 16743We had the great pleasure of Miki as a guide last week. She spent two days touring with my 14 year old son in the cities of Suzhou and Nanjing while I worked and then for an additional day with both my son and me in Shanghai.
Prior to visiting, Miki was very prompt answering questions and suggesting itineraries. Her written and spoken English is very good and easy to understand.
My son enjoyed his time with her a great deal. She found a good diversity of activities that kept his interest throughout the two days. She was a great "big sister" to him. She provides a great balance of explaining the significance of sites without lecturing.
We also enjoyed our time in Shanghai. We were able to see sights that would have been very difficult to find on our own. She helped us negotiate for several purchases making sure that we arrived at a fair price for the seller and us.
Finally, we enjoyed several meals with Miki. She took us to restaurants that tourists would not typically have frequented and helped us navigate the Chinese menus so that we could enjoy some of the local specialties!
You cannot go wrong spending a day or two with Miki!
